Law and the Good Life: Reflections on Vocation and Public Service
What does it mean to pursue law not simply as a profession, but as a vocation? Join Baylor Honors College alumnus Ben Aguiñaga, Solicitor General of Louisiana, and members of his team for a conversation about law, leadership, public service, and the pursuit of meaningful work. Moderated by Dean Emeritus Thomas Hibbs, the panel will explore the attorneys’ professional journeys, their experiences in public service, and how questions of purpose and calling have shaped their lives in the law.
Aguiñaga, a graduate of Baylor’s Honors College and former clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, will be joined by Deputy Solicitor General Zachary Faircloth, Assistant Solicitor General Caitlin Huettemann, and Assistant Solicitor General Elizabeth Brown.
