Important Housing Dates:

March 3, 2026: Housing application opens
April 15, 2026: Priority deadline
- Students who complete their housing application on or before April 15 will be able to participate in Roommate Matching and Choose Your Own Room.
April 28, 2026: Housing program approval
- Students will receive housing program approval and choose your own room time slot in the end of April.
April 28 - May 10, 2026: Roommate Matching
- Students who submitted their housing application on or before April 15th will be able to participate in Roommate Matching in early May (a questionnaire system through CL&L that allows students to browse a list of varying roommate compatibility).
May 11 - 20, 2026: Choose Your Own Room
- Participate in Choose Your Own Room on one of our Choose Your Own Room days starting in mid-May and ending in late May.

Apply to the Honors College. You must be accepted to any Honors College program/major (BIC, Great Texts, Honors Program, University Scholars, Bachelor of Philosophy) to live in the HRC.
Submit the non-refundable $500 enrollment deposit in goBAYLOR.
Enroll with DUO Two-Factor authentication. This is required in order to access the Housing Application.
Submit your Housing Application through your MyHousing Portal beginning March 3.
Select the Honors Residential College (HRC) as your first preference.
Complete the short-answer question in 2-3 sentences telling us why you would like to live in the HRC. Responses will be evaluated by the HRC Housing Committee. If approved, you will continue to the next step.
Note: Approvals will be distributed in April.
