About Courtney DePalma:
Courtney DePalma joined the Honors Residential College staff in the fall of 2010. She earned her BA in Linguistics from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA, and her MA in Language and Linguistics from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Prior to coming to Baylor, she taught First-Year Writing and English as a Second Language courses and she is the former Director of the Writing Center at the University of New Hampshire. She is a native of San Diego, California. Courtney and her husband Mike have two children, Lily and Thomas. As Program Director of the Honors Residential College, Courtney’s roles include coordinating events, advising students, coordinating Honors Line Camp, and supervising the operation of the Honors Residential College.
The Role of Program Director:
Housed in the Honors College, the Program Director works collaboratively with the Faculty Steward and Residence Hall Director to develop a robust community with programs and initiatives that foster student learning and engagement. Mrs. DePalma's roles include coordinating events, advising students, coordinating Honors Line Camp, and supervising the operation of the Honors Residential College.
